Can I use ready meals straight from the freezer, or do I need to thaw them first?
The rule of thumb is that frozen ready meals can be heated and microwaved straight from the freezer. However, you should always prepare your frozen ready meals according to the instructions on the packaging.
What is IQF?
IQF stands for Individually Quick Frozen. This advanced industrial method allows producers to freeze each piece of ingredient separately at a very low temperature, preserving vitamins, minerals, texture, and flavour.
Can I refreeze thawed ready meals?
Do not refreeze thawed ready meals. The rule is simple: if it thaws, in the microwave/oven/airfryer/pan, it goes! And that’s a one-way street
